Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our products, quality systems, sampling, and supply process.
Products & Sourcing
- What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for herbal extracts?
- Our standard MOQ is 1 kg for most herbal extracts and botanical ingredients. For liposomal ingredients and specialized nutraceuticals, MOQ starts at 500g. We also offer sample quantities (25g–100g) for evaluation and R&D purposes. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
- Do you provide Certificate of Analysis (COA) for all products?
- Yes. Every batch of Prachin Nutriva products comes with a full Certificate of Analysis (COA) including identity testing, assay results, method of analysis (HPLC, UV, Gravimetry, Titration), heavy metals testing, microbial limits, and shelf life data. COAs are issued by our in-house QC laboratory and available on request.
- Can you provide custom extraction specifications?
- Yes, we offer custom extraction services. We can standardize extracts to your specific active compound percentages, adjust particle size, solubility profiles, and delivery formats. Our R&D team works with you to develop specifications tailored to your formulation requirements.
- What testing methods do you use to standardize your extracts?
- We use internationally recognized testing methods including HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), UV Spectrophotometry, Gravimetric Analysis, Titration, IU (International Units) assay, and LCMS. All methods comply with USP, EP, and BP pharmacopoeial standards where applicable.
- What is the difference between liposomal and standard extracts?
- Liposomal extracts encapsulate the active ingredient within phospholipid bilayer vesicles (liposomes) that mimic cell membranes. This dramatically improves bioavailability and cellular uptake compared to standard extracts. For example, standard curcumin has very poor absorption, while liposomal curcumin achieves significantly higher plasma concentrations without requiring piperine.
